BOB HUNGATE FCILA
The senior managing partner with nearly 40 years experience in undertaking surveys and investigations upon all forms of dry cargo, temperature controlled goods and containers/equipment.
In particular, he specialises in timber, sheet materials and forest products having originally studied Wood Science at High Wycombe College of Technology and over the years has travelled extensively in this field, both in dealing with claims and risk management.
He is also called upon as an expert witness.
In addition to the above, Bob is heavily involved with the handling of goods in transit, freight forwarders and warehousekeepers liability claims.
Bob is a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters and has been a member of the committee of The British Association of Cargo Surveyors for the past 10 years and was involved with the updating of the current Lloyds Survey Handbook.
