JOHN JACKSON
John joined Clark Woodward Hungate and Co in 1979 and was made an equity partner in 1991.
Although originally based in Chislehurst, he set up the company’s Dover Office in 1996 in order to utilise the advantages brought about by the Channel Tunnel in dealing with claims involving near continent RO/RO ports such as Calais, Dunkerque, Zeebrugge and Rotterdam.
As the result of the success of this venture he moved to Lille, North East France in 2002 and now runs CWH (Europe) SARL whose work extends throughout the majority of Western Europe, but still has responsibility for the operation of the Dover office.
John has considerable experience in undertaking surveys on all forms of dry cargo, temperature controlled goods and equipment.
He is a member of The British Association of Cargo Surveyors.
